The Regional Administrative Court (TAR) rejected the appeal filed by the committee promoting the collection of signatures for the referendum on justice, challenging the Council of Ministers' decision to hold the vote on March 22 and 23.

According to the judges, the appeal regarding the date of the justice referendum is "unfounded" as a legitimate request has already been filed that allows voting within the "certain timeframe" established by law.

Therefore, the petition by the committee promoting the collection of popular signatures cannot be granted. According to the TAR, "the applicable legislation is primarily aimed at allowing the constitutional reform law (...) to be submitted, within a specified timeframe, for popular approval, regardless of which of the parties (...) first submitted the request for a referendum."
