A 40-year-old woman from Bologna was denounced by the postal and communications police for having sent several insulting and threatening emails, including death, to prominent political figures, including Prime Minister Mario Draghi, the governor of the Emilia-Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini, Giorgia Meloni, Matteo Salvini.

After the computer investigations, the investigators of the Postale di Bologna in collaboration with the Digos identified, tracked down and searched the woman, finding on her smartphone various emails confirming the facts, along with other correspondence of the same tenor also sent to Pope Francis. Doctors such as Matteo Bassetti and Umberto Gnudi are also in his sights.

From what we learn, the woman, after having sent e-mails for months expressing her dissent regarding some choices of the Government to combat the Covid epidemic and contesting the recommendations of the doctors on the subject of vaccination, then addressed her hatred in particular towards Draghi and Bonaccini.

He will have to answer for the crimes of aggravated defamation and threats.
