The last minutes of Saman Abbas's life in a video recorded by the security camera placed above the entrance to the house where the family of the 18-year-old Pakistani lived, who disappeared for almost a year in Novellara (Reggio Emilia) after opposing an arranged marriage .
The video was shown by the Tgr Emilia Romagna and is part of the deeds of the request for indictment for the girl's parents (who are in Pakistan), and an uncle and two cousins who are arrested on murder charges.
10 minutes have passed since midnight on April 30, 2021 and we see the girl, a white backpack on her shoulder, leaving the house accompanied by her parents. A walk towards the greenhouses immortalized for a few seconds which, according to those who investigate, is the last existing image of Saman alive. A few minutes later, in fact, the same cameras immortalize the parents who come back, Saman's father has the same backpack that the 18-year-old had on his shoulders a few minutes earlier.
In those moments, according to the indictment, Saman was handed over to her uncle and cousins to meet her death.
