Storm over Don Tarcisio Colombo, parish priest of Pavese who during the homily of the year-end mass, on the afternoon of Friday 31 December, strongly criticized the vaccines and the line adopted by the government to combat the Covid pandemic.

It happened in Casorato Primo, a municipality of Pavese on the border with the province of Milan, whose parish of San Vittore Martire is part of the Milanese archdiocese.

The homily aroused the indignant reaction of many faithful, who got up from their seats and left the church. The case has already been reported to the Curia of Milan.

"In life - said Don Tarcisio in an attempt to defend oneself from criticism - one must also know how to listen to those who have an opinion different from one's own. If in this historical phase something different is said about the pandemic than the common feeling, one is pointed out as no vax ".

The parish priest did not answer the question whether or not he was vaccinated against Covid-19: "To this question I only answer doctors, on personal health issues we must only answer doctors".
