Hit by a firecracker thrown by a friend: a 28-year-old seriously injured

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured in the head by a firecracker exploding.

It happened on the Roman coast and, after the alarm was raised, the young man was transported to the hospital in Anzio.

The carabinieri of the Anzio company intervened on the spot and from an initial reconstruction they ascertained that shortly before the young man, a worker with no criminal record, while he was at a party in a club, temporarily went out into the open and at that moment he was accidentally hit by the explosion of a firecracker thrown by a friend.

Now the 28-year-old, having undergone surgery, is under a guarded prognosis, while the military has started investigations into the firecracker, to understand if it was legal and ascertain its origin.
