It happened last night in Racale, in the province of Lecce . The attacker, a 22-year-old, was arrested by the police for attempted murder .
The young man, as far as we know, did not accept the end of their relationship, which lasted six years and ended about a month ago . Hence the brutal attack, which took place in the garden of her parents' house, where the 22-year-old showed up with two knives.
Helped by her parents, the girl was taken to the emergency room of the Gallipoli hospital and from there, due to the severity of her injuries, transferred with a guarded prognosis to the Tricase hospital .
