Tragedy in Arenzano, in the province of Genoa, where a 74-year-old hunter died in hospital after being attacked by a wild boar.

The man was attacked during a hunting trip in the areas between Castelletto and Silvano d'Orba. Fatal the haemorrhage caused by the cutting of the femoral artery, caused by the fangs of the animal that, wounded by the elderly, loaded it.

Rescued by batting mates and 118 health personnel, the man had been transported by helicopter to the Santi Antonio e Biagio hospital.
