He shoots his wife suffering from Alzheimer's: murder in Arezzo
The man, 80 years old, notified his neighbors after the crime. The police arrested him

Murder in the night in Arezzo. An 80-year-old man killed his wife with a gunshot, then called for help.
The tragedy occurred in the couple's home, in Viale Giotto. The elderly man explained to the police that he was totally worn out by the serious illness of the 72-year-old woman, who had been suffering from Alzheimer's for some time and he was no longer able to look after her. The two have no children.
After the crime Alessandro Sacchi notified the neighbors. When the ambulances and the police arrived, there was nothing left to do for his wife, Serenella Mugnai.
Around half past midnight the man grabbed the weapon, a duly reported 7.65 caliber pistol, and fired.
The officers took him to the police station, he appeared in shock. Then he was arrested.
