Former carabiniere kills his wife, then throws himself off the third floor

Murder-suicide in Velletri, in the province of Rome.
Carabinieri and 118 intervened in a house in via Matteotti, where the lifeless body of a woman was found, with several injuries. Her husband, responsible for the crime, also died when he threw himself from a window on the third floor. It is a 72-year-old former carabiniere, Paolo Ianniello.
To give the alarm were some passers-by, who saw the dying man in the garden below the house. However, the rescues were useless. The former soldier was rushed to hospital, where he died shortly after admission.
The men of the weapon have started the investigation to clarify all the contours of the tragedy.
