He killed his neighbor with a hatchet.
Then the 48-year-old man turned himself in to the police.
The murder took place yesterday evening around 20.30 in Noriglio, a hamlet of Rovereto, in via Fontani.
The victim's name was Mara Fait, she was a 63-year-old retired nurse.
From the first information it seems that between the two there had been heated discussions in the past. The only witness is the woman's elderly mother.
