New tragedy at work, this time in a building in the hamlet of Borzano in Albinea, in the Reggiano area.

In the afternoon today, around 2 pm, a 56-year-old construction worker died of serious injuries sustained following a fall from about 10 meters high while he was working on the maintenance of the roof.

According to an initial reconstruction of the staff of the Prevention and Safety Service of the Occupational Medicine of Reggio Emilia, who intervened together with the Carabinieri of Albinea, the man was on a scaffold when, for reasons still under investigation, he fell to the ground.

For the 56-year-old, who was immediately rescued, there was nothing to be done.
