One person died and one was injured in the road accident which occurred late yesterday evening on the SS 274 , near Salve, in the Lecce area .
The victim is a young man from Presicce Acquarica, Francesco Saranelli, aged 23 . For reasons currently under investigation, he lost control of his Audi A6, going off the road and ending up on an embankment .
The friend who was traveling with him, a 20-year-old boy also from Presicce-Acquarica, was also seriously injured and transported under code red to the Tricase hospital.
