The man who bled to death yesterday in Voghera (Pavia), after kicking in the glass door of a building, has been identified by the police. The victim was called Josep Uwhuba Ogaga, a citizen of Nigerian origins domiciled in the city beyond the Po Valley: he would have turned 36 today.

According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the man would have had a heated discussion on the intercom with a 23-year-old girl, originally from Togo, who lives in the condominium. There would have been no relationship between the two, but only a simple acquaintance that was perhaps misunderstood by the 36-year-old.

The Nigerian's anger exploded when he learned that the 23-year-old was living with another man. At that point he kicked the entrance door: the glass severed both his femoral arteries until causing his death, despite the immediate intervention of the 118 operators and the transfer to the hospital.

A death which, according to the initial findings of the investigation, should be considered as an accidental event, thus excluding possible responsibilities of other people.
