The man who shot his neighbor after an argument in Vigevano (Pavia) has been arrested.

Blinded by anger, a 48-year-old Albanian grabbed a gun and fired a shot that grazed the 56-year-old Egyptian in the head. The latter barricaded himself, with his family, in the house, and the neighbor attempted to enter with threatening tones.

The carabinieri arrived on site in via Gravellona and convinced the Albanian to stop the attack and finally handcuffed him.

According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the injured man managed to return to his apartment, where there were his wife and two children, one of which was small, he barricaded himself inside, closing the armored door behind him, and raised the alarm at 112. Entrusted to the care of healthcare workers, he was taken under code yellow to the San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia. His life is not in danger, but the fact that he was shot in the head could lead to an attempted murder charge against the shooter.
