The two attacks that led to the death of Giulia Cecchettin at the hands of Filippo Turetta took place in approximately 22 minutes, between 11.18pm and 11.40pm on 11 November, between the girl's house and the industrial area of Fossò (Venice ). The reconstruction is contained in the precautionary custody order of the Venice investigating judge issued yesterday, and transmitted for the issuing of the European arrest warrant against Turetta, for the remains of murder aggravated by the emotional relationship and kidnapping.

Giulia Cecchettin was stabbed the first time while she was in the parking lot in front of her house . This first attack was reconstructed from the story of a witness. Traces of blood and a 21 centimeter kitchen knife without a handle were found here.

Then, after probably immobilizing her with duct tape, Turetta pushed his ex-girlfriend into the car, within a few minutes reached the industrial area of Fossò, 6 km away, and here he attacked her again, while she was trying to escape, killing her .

These last images, those of the attack on Fossò, were immortalized by video surveillance cameras: we see her trying to escape, he catching up with her and hitting her, she falling at the pavement and never getting up again. The murder took place here, then the victim was taken near Lake Barcis: there Turetta picked her up, led her down the cliff and placed her body under a large rock in a gully , then covered it with some black bags.

Giulia fought for almost 25 minutes before surrendering to her executioner . Giulia's cries for help and the plea "you're hurting me like this" were heard - we read in the papers - by a neighbor at 11.15pm, in the car park 150 meters from the Cecchettin house. When the murderous action has already moved to the industrial area of Fossò, and Turetta is seen loading the body into the car, the time is 11.40pm.
