Girls beaten with an iron and forced into prostitution: three arrests in Campania
The mother and father, residents in the province of Naples, were involved
Ill-treatment of family members, child prostitution, child abuse and child pornography: these are the accusations which, for various reasons, have brought three people to prison today, in execution of as many precautionary custody orders issued by the investigating judge of Salerno, at the request of the prosecutor's office, and carried out by agents of the Pompeii police station.
The episodes from which the accusations arise occurred in the Neapolitan area starting from 2008, against two little girls, in a context of profound degradation.
Based on the evidence gathered, one of the victims, since she was very young, had been beaten several times by her father with unmotivated violence, including using an iron and a ladle; another minor victim was forced into prostitution by her mother and to have sexual intercourse with her.
Finally, one of the suspects was also found in possession of child pornography.
