It is essential to bear witness to what is happening in Gaza through the eyes of independent journalism, collecting the stories and voices of the defenseless population. The presence of independent information can help protect women, children, and the elderly from cruelty, persecution, and war crimes.
We ask the Italian government to promote, both with the Israeli authorities and at European level, a resolute initiative to allow foreign journalists to enter the Strip.
