Furious fight in the workshop: a mechanic killed, his nephew arrested

A furious fight inside a workshop ended in tragedy last night in Verbicaro, a mountain town in the Tyrrhenian Sea of Cosenza .
A 74-year-old mechanic, Ugo Lofrano, was killed, hit on the head with a blunt object, and his nephew Biagio Lofrano, 41, was arrested for the murder .
The lifeless body of the 74-year-old was found inside the workshop he owned, the Carabinieri of the Scalea company intervened on site, alerted by a report to 112. Ugo Lofrano had several head wounds caused by a metal pipe found a short distance from the body, with visible traces of blood.
The investigations began and within a few hours Biagio Lofrano was arrested. The crime was allegedly caused by a fight over trivial reasons related to disagreements that arose at work . The 41-year-old, arrested late yesterday evening, allegedly admitted to the murder. He was then taken to the Paola prison.
