Carabinieri arrested the 59-year-old mother and 16-year-old son of the victim, Dolores Dori, the 44-year-old woman killed in Lonato del Garda, Brescia. The woman, of Sinti origin and resident in a Roma camp in Venice, arrived at the Desenzano hospital in desperate condition, with three gunshot wounds to the abdomen and leg. She was dumped in front of the emergency room by a car with a false license plate, which then drove away. Doctors' attempts to save her were futile: she died in the operating room.

According to investigators' reconstruction, Dolores Dori went with her mother and son to the Lonato gypsy camp, where a violent firefight broke out. The 44-year-old fired several shots at a group of people, including a man who returned fire, fatally wounding her.

According to investigators, the boy filmed the incident with his cell phone. After the shooting, the woman was transported by car to the hospital and abandoned outside the entrance. The Carabinieri are continuing their investigation to precisely reconstruct the circumstances and motive behind the attack.
