The lawyers of Olindo Romano and Rosa Bazzi , definitively sentenced to life imprisonment for the massacre in Erba (Como) on 11 December 2006 (four dead and one seriously injured), have filed the request to sentencing review for the two spouses.

Lawyers Fabio Schenbri and Luisa Bordeaux believe they have new elements that can lead to an acquittal of the couple, who have been in prison since 2007.

The request comes a few months after the request for review by Milan's deputy prosecutor Cuno Tarfusser. But compared to the magistrate's issues "there is much more", explains the lawyer Fabio Schenbri, "we have attached seven consultations, audio and video and addressed broader timeframes" .

A request that consists of approximately 150 pages, with various topics addressed: the manner of Valeria Cherubini's death , "incompatible" with the thesis of Olindo and Rosa's guilt; the wiretaps on the hospital bed of Mario Frigerio, the only survivor of the massacre and the great accuser of the spouses; a study on electricity in the house where the massacre occurred; finally, the testimony of Abdi Kais , a resident of the Erba house who was never heard from by the investigators, the man was then arrested for drug dealing.
