Drama of despair in a house in Rovigo, where the lifeless bodies of two spouses aged 76 and 71, Renzo Cavazze and his wife Guglielmina Pasetto, were found.
According to preliminary information, the man first strangled his wife, whose body was found on the bed, then hanged himself.
Both were retirees. It seems that Cavazze had been suffering from a mental disorder for some time. The man had also been assisting his wife for years, who was partially paralyzed after being hit by a stroke.
A situation that over time has caused him to fall into a severe depressive state. So he decided to end it, choked his wife with a pillow and then hanged himself.
