A turning point in the case of Ivan Ciullo , aka "Navi", the Salento DJ found hanged from an olive tree at dawn on June 22, 2015 in the countryside of Acquarica del Capo, in Salento .

The crime assumed in the new investigation file changed after the change of two prosecutors to a third magistrate, Donatina Buffelli. No more instigation to suicide, but murder . Two suspects appear in the new investigation file. It's about the man with whom Ivan had a troubled romantic relationship, so far the only suspect in the proceeding, and a local musician singer, who collaborated with the DJ.

The new murder charge , as Ivan's parents, Rita and Sergio have been trying to prove for eight years, will allow the completion of two unrepeatable investigations , fundamental for the outcome of the investigations and will concern an expert report on the memory of the laptop and of the mobile phone used by the victim. An investigation aimed at recovering the data contained in the hard disk which was damaged and malfunctioning according to the expert of the Public Prosecutor's Office who was entrusted with an initial evaluation already in 2015 and 2016.

Ivan was 34 years old. For the family experts he would have been strangled and then later hanged from a tree to simulate suicide.
