A nasty experience for former dancer Stefano De Martino, now the host of the Rai TV program 'Affari Tuoi'. He was robbed—and then threatened when he attempted to fight back—of his Patek Philippe watch, worth approximately €40,000, while he was driving his Mercedes on Via Castelbarco in the Bocconi district of Milan.

The robbers used the well-known, but unfortunately effective, "mirror trick." A scooter arrived and hit the car's front mirror. De Martino, 35, born and raised in Torre Annunziata in the province of Naples, reached out to put it back in place, when another scooter arrived carrying two men, one of whom tried to snatch his watch. The former dancer tried to hold him back, but the man shouted, "Let go or I'll shoot!" (It's unclear whether he actually had a gun.)

At which point the host gave up and the watch was taken away. De Martino, who is currently enjoying a particularly positive run, with over 6 million viewers per episode, had no choice but to call the police and file a complaint.
