Crime, Oristano is the safest province in Italy
The ranking of the Sole 24 Ore rewards the Sardinian city. Good positioning also for Cagliari, Nuoro first in Italy for post office robberies

A picture of varied colors that relating to Sardinia and that comes out of the usual ranking of the Sole 24 Ore, which published the crime index in the Italian provinces for 2020.
According to the general classification, Oristano is considered the safest province in Italy, while Milan remains the first for complaints in relation to the resident population, followed by Bologna and Rimini.
The least safe provinces of Sardinia, on the other hand, are Nuoro, in 48th position in the classic national team, and Sassari, in 51st position. Cagliari followed in 81st place and Oristano ended in 106th and last position.
Among the individual crimes, the province of Nuoro is fourth in Italy for extortion and ninth for voluntary killings committed. Negative national record for Nuoro also for the number of robberies in post offices, four in 2020.
