Sardinia among the four Italian regions where the incidence of Covid-19 cases is decreasing compared to last week.

This is what emerges from the table included in the periodic monitoring released by the ISS and the Ministry of Health.

According to the new findings, the incidence of Covid cases on the island has gone from 13.3 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants to 7.9 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.

Together with the island there was also a decrease in Basilicata (from 22.3 to 18.4), Calabria (from 43 to 36.7) and Sicily (from 43.0 to 38.3).

Incidence in climbs, however, in all other regions and autonomous provinces. The highest nationally are recorded in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (85.6), Friuli Venezia Giulia (51.7) and Veneto (48.3).

Below is the detail of the incidence values of Covid-19 cases in the Regions by comparing the two reference periods relating to the weeks 8-14 October and 15-21 October:
