Treviso: couple shot dead at home, his brother arrested

Double homicide this morning, Wednesday 3 May, in Paese, in the Treviso area.
A man and a woman were killed in a house in via Monsignor Breda, both hit by bullets from a pistol .
The carabinieri after a very brief investigation (initially it was thought to be a murder-suicide) stopped the alleged killer and took him to the barracks, where the man confessed to having killed both people .
The alleged murderer is called Massimo Pestrin, 51, a security guard. He confessed to having killed his brother Lino, 63, and his sister-in-law Rosanna Trento, 58 .
The two brothers lived in neighboring houses, on the same agricultural property in the Treviso area. The crime, according to initial information, would have occurred due to family disputes . Prosecutor Michele Permunian also arrived at the crime scene.
