After the complaint on the case of the Balocco pandoro “Pink Christmas” signed by Chiara Ferragni, Codacons announced that it had presented a new complaint to the Antitrust and the judiciary «on the "Oreo" charity operation which involved the influencer .

The consumer association also made «a request for access to the confectionery company aimed at having all the data regarding the solidarity campaign launched with the influencer » with the edition of a “Chiara Ferragni limited edition Capsule collection by Oreo ” in 2020 that Ferragni advertised on social media.

«In these messages addressed to the public it was stated that 100% of the proceeds from the sales of these clothes would go to charity for initiatives against the coronavirus. However - according to Codacons - the Oreo company appears to be linked to Ferragni by commercial relationships , as attested by various contents published on Instagram by the same influencer where Oreo products are sponsored through the specific wording "Adv".

Hence the request "to the Oreo company and the government" to view the data on the sales of the capsule collection, the sums allocated to charity, the recipients, and also the way in which the donations were allocated and the checks made on the use of the funds raised.
