Catamaran ends up against Amerigo Vespucci

The Amerigo Vespucci, the Navy ship considered one of the most beautiful in the world , was involved in an accident in Venice.

Yesterday evening a tourist catamaran ended up against the prow of the sailing ship which has recently been docked on the San Biasio shore.

From what emerged, it would have been a maneuvering error on the part of the captain of the catamaran, who, making a turn near the Vespucci, did not calculate that, due to the height, one of the masts could not pass under the ship's mast. The impact was inevitable but no injuries were recorded.

No consequences for the sailing ship, damage instead to the tourist boat, the Venice Cat.
