Journalist Milo Infante is being investigated as part of the investigation into Denise Pipitone, the 4-year-old girl from Mazara del Vallo who has now disappeared for almost 18 years.

If the investigation is in fact stopped at the filing arranged by the investigating judge at the request of the Public Prosecutor of Marsala (to which the lawyers of the child's mother had opposed), to end up in the register of suspects is now those who have always continued to look for her. Not in Marsala, as we learn, but in Caltanissetta, for defamation.

Milo Infante, host of the Rai2 program “Ore 14”, has been keeping the spotlight on the case for years, which he has dealt with numerous times.

With a post on social media he made it known, not without a pinch of controversy, that he ended up in the register of suspects: “The judges investigate who Denise sought her with all their might. Journalists, former prosecutors and more. If someone thinks it is enough to stop us wrong, we will continue to look for it. Denise must be sought, not filed ".

Piera Maggio expressed "solidarity and esteem" to the journalist. “My strong feeling is that there is the will to make everything fall into oblivion again. Those who seek the truth about Denise are somewhat hindered. As if they wanted to burn earth around us, I hope no one is intimidated and continues to go on stronger than before, ”Denise's mom said.

Meanwhile, the institutions have also stopped on the case of the missing child: the parliamentary commission of inquiry, which was one step away from being formed, will no longer be constituted. Everything has run aground.
