The Supreme Court has confirmed the no to the request made by Sabrina Misseri, sentenced to life imprisonment with her mother Cosima Serrano for the murder of Sarah Scazzi, to obtain a prize permit to leave the prison of Taranto.

According to the stoats, the fact that Sabrina did not admit the crime indicates in her the lack of a "critical review" of her "previous deviant behavior" and attests to its social dangerousness.

On April 12, 2021, the Supervisory Court of Taranto shared the decision of the competent magistrate not to grant the permit. Sabrina Misseri appealed, unsuccessfully: for the defense the "positive penitentiary path" made by the 34-year-old from Manduria was not taken into account, highlighting, instead, the fact that the woman "refuses to take responsibility for the murder for which she was sentenced ".

In the opinion of Misseri's lawyers, her choice not to take responsibility is "legitimate", on the other hand, they note, "the convict has filed an appeal before the European Court of Human Rights and intends to propose a review of the sentence".

For stoats, on the other hand, its failure to admit makes the social dangerousness of women "persistent".
