A murder planned for at least a month. A diabolical plan to take possession of the family money, 800 thousand euros in cash and securities: money with which he would have wanted to buy a house in Arzignano (Vicenza), for which he had already paid the deposit, and a car.

This is why Diego Gugole shot and killed his parents Sergio Gugole and Lorena Zanin, both 60 years old, with an illegally detained weapon. The murder took place in the late morning of March 15, then the young man took the car and he was lost for several hours. Until, in the middle of the night, he showed up at the barracks, put the murder weapon on the table and told the military that he had killed his parents.

First he opened fire on his father, surprising him with two gunshots while he was sitting at the table when his mother was not at home. When the latter returned he killed her too, four shots fired to take her out. No quarrel, a project he had been carrying out for at least a month, which is why he had procured the weapon - a Polish-made 9mm - for 3,800 euros from a stranger.

Immediately after the murder he transferred 16 thousand euros from his father's account to his father, before taking the car and making him lose track. At 2.30 he showed up at the barracks and told everything, including his motive: he needed money to buy a house and a car. "I don't like working," he told the carabinieri. Now the young man must answer for aggravated premeditated murder.
