Arsonist sets fire to but does not notice the drone: caught red-handed, risks up to 10 years

T-shirts, slippers and shorts, and the circumspect air of someone who knows he is committing a crime: so a pyromaniac was immortalized in the images of a drone , intent on setting fire to a heap of brushwood in Calabria .

The president of the Region , Roberto Occhiuto , shared the images of the man on social media.

What has been recorded leaves no doubt about the dynamics of the facts , and the person concerned, Occhiuto specifies, has already been "reported to the competent authorities".

The man now risks being charged with arson in the woods, a crime which, pursuant to article 423 bis of the criminal code, provides for imprisonment from 4 to 10 years .
