He had moved for a couple of weeks to work in Limone sul Garda, in the Bresciano, and it was in that lake that he met his death .

Antonio Pala, 35 years old from Cagliari , lost his life in recent days in Garda. He had the afternoon off and decided to spend the day at the lake.

He dived from a pier around 5 pm: some swimmers who gave the alarm said they saw him re-emerge for a few moments, before being swallowed again by the waters .

The men of the Coast Guard and the divers of the Fire Brigade immediately arrived on the spot, they found the body of the young bartender on a depth of about 6 meters, still near the pier from which he had dived.

The desperate attempts to revive him were useless. It is not excluded that it is a death from cardiac arrest or an illness due to thermal shock caused by diving into very deep waters, where the temperature is very low.
