The Attorney General of the Cassation has presented a precise request for the case of Alfredo Cospito : cancel the 41 bis.

On February 24, the Cassation will have to rule on the appeal of the anarchist's defense against the decision of the Surveillance Court of Rome to confirm the harsh prison regime.

In the meantime, Cospito has been transferred from the Opera institute to the San Paolo hospital in Milan : after more than 100 days on hunger strike, he weighs 71 kilos and risks cerebral edema and potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias.

Yesterday in the Lombard capital there were clashes between the forces of order and the participants in a procession in support of the anarchist. Six policemen were injured. There were paper bombs dropped and serious damage to premises and cars. Eleven people arrested during the riots.
