Alberto Genovese was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison .
The former web entrepreneur - arrested in November 2020 - is accused of raping two models after making them unconscious with a mix of cocaine and ketamine.
The first victim is an 18-year-old, raped during a party on 10 October 2020 in her Milanese penthouse overlooking the Duomo known as the Sentimento Terrace . The second is a 23-year-old guest in a luxury villa in Ibiza, raped in July of the same year.
The trial was held with an abbreviated procedure, the judge of Milan Chiara Valori issued the sentence. Genovese's ex-girlfriend Sarah Borruso, accused in the Ibiza case, was also sentenced to 2 years and 5 months .
The gup therefore recognized all the charges contested by the prosecutors.
Genovese left the classroom without speaking , with his sister at his side, without answering the incessant questions of the reporters Alberto Genovese.
" We await the reasons ", merely said his defenders, lawyers Luigi Isolabella and Davide Ferrari. "We continue to be confident and await the reasons", explained the lawyer Gianmaria Palminteri, who assists Genovese's ex-girlfriend.
