An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man died following a road accident that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday in Follo, in the province of La Spezia.

The motorcycle the two young men were riding crashed into the wall of a house, for reasons currently under investigation. Residents raised the alarm, and ambulances and the 118 emergency medical service from La Spezia and Sarzana arrived on the scene.

For over half an hour, paramedics attempted to revive the boys, and a helicopter even arrived from Genoa, but unfortunately, the efforts of the medical teams who arrived on the scene were in vain.
