18-year-old tourist raped on the lakefront in Como, the shocking story: "Raped for two hours"
The girl, Austrian, was with a friend. In a club he met what would later become his tormentor
An 18-year-old Austrian tourist reported being raped in the night between Sunday and Monday in the Como lakefront area.
The young woman, in shock, returned to the room of the bed & breakfast that she shared with a friend and from there the alarm went off immediately on the single emergency number 112 , around 4.45.
A Red Cross ambulance reached the room and took the victim to the emergency room of the Sant'Anna hospital.
On Sunday evening, the 18-year-old said, she and her friend had gone out for a walk on the lakefront and had spent the evening in a club, where she met the person who would later rape her.
While the friend returned to the room earlier, the 18-year-old lingered until closing time . Then the nightmare: that person became the torturer who raped her for at least two hours.
The Prosecutor of Como has instructed the weak subjects section of the Police Headquarters to investigate the case. Once released from the hospital, yesterday the girl remained in the police offices for a long time with the assistance of personnel specialized in the psychological assistance of women victims of violence.
