Bread, pasta and cereals fly to first place in the ranking of food product price increases .

According to the National Consumer Union, which processed the latest Istat data to calculate the provisional average inflation for 2022, if on average an Italian family in 2022 spent 513 euros more than in 2021 (which reaches 700 for a couple with two children), it is mainly due to bread, pasta, flour and rice , with an additional cost of 100 euros compared to 2021, against an average inflation of 10.9% .

Fresh and packaged bread, but also fresh and dry pasta and pasta preparations become "expensive", with a blow, respectively, of 29 (11%) and 24 euros (17.3%).

In second place are vegetables which cost an average of 92 euros more per family . For meat, a sting equal to 87 euros (+7.2%) : the highest leap is that of poultry, +13.4%, with an increase equal to 31 euros.

Just off the podium are milk, cheese and eggs (+9.5%, equal to 69 euros), then fish and fish products (+7.7%, 40 euros), in sixth place fruit (+7.1%, 36 EUR). Followed by oils and fats (+18%, 31 euros).

In ninth place are mineral waters and soft drinks (+8.7%, +23 euros) and sugar, jams and honey (+7.3%, +16 euros). The top ten is closed by other food products, such as sauces, ready meals, baby food, food supplements and coffee, tea and cocoa, both with an increase in spending of 9 euros compared to 2021 and inflation, respectively, of 6 .5 and 5.2 per cent.

For the 2022 top ten, in terms of inflation, of food products and soft drinks, oil other than olive oil wins (+51.6%) . In second place is butter with +28.2%. Followed by sugar (+19%), flour (+18.5%), rice (+17.9%), margarine (+17.8%).

As for non-food products, in first place electricity, with an astronomical + 110.4% , then international flights which in 2022 fly by 85.9% compared to the previous year. And again: city gas with +73.7%, diesel for heating (+38.4%), followed by LPG and methane (+33.3%) and diesel for means of transport (+22.1%).

Fuel prices also continue to grow , especially since the government definitively canceled all the discount on excise duties: 2.349 euros per liter in served mode, 2.239 euros/litre for petrol, Codacons denounces. In La Maddalena petrol rises to 2.087 euros per litre, 2.229 euros for diesel . In Ischia a liter of green costs 2.054 euros today, diesel flies to 2.104 euros. Prices on the motorway are prohibitive, where diesel travels at around 2.5 euros per liter (2.479 euros).
