Can you be a feminist without loving? And can you love without being a feminist? What kind of love are we talking about? These are provocative questions, capable of undermining certainties and opening new perspectives, which will guide the meeting “Feminism and love”, organized by the philosophy laboratory “Pensare in presenza” in collaboration with the Biblioteca Metropolitana di Cagliari and Compagnia B.

After the success of the previous meeting on “Feminism and feminisms” , the debate moves on to an equally important theme: the link between the struggles for emancipation and the feeling that, par excellence, builds bonds.

The common thread will be “Communion” by Bell Hooks, a text in which the famous intellectual explores love as a political and transformative practice .

The meeting will be held tonight at 5:30 p.m., in the Metropolitan Library “Emilio Lussu” in Cagliari. Participation is free, but reservations are required.
