Healthcare, the majority “cuts” the opinion of local authorities: “Unacceptable fact”

Controversy over the sudden acceleration given by the majority to the path of bill 40 for the reorganization of the regional health system . In fact, it was decided to bypass the opinion of the Cal (Council of Local Authorities), whose president Paola Secci goes on the attack.
" An unacceptable fact, an inappropriate move, given that healthcare falls mainly on the territories ", he thunders. "We know the problems, they are due to the lack of general practitioners, to the structures that are closing. The Cal represents all the territories".
The opposition also joins in the controversy. Paolo Truzzu speaks of a "dangerous precedent" , "because we are talking about a law that impacts the life of local administrations". The FdI group leader then launches a lunge at a "useless measure, which does not reform anything and which will not be able to resolve even one of the problems that afflict Sardinian healthcare". The only immediate result, Truzzu denounces, "will be to be able to appoint commissioners to replace the ASL directors with trusted managers of the centre-left" .
Yesterday, the president of the sixth commission, Carla Fundoni , after the green light from the parliament to the measure, explained: «The communication arrived from the offices of the Presidency of the Council that there will be no need to go through the opinion of the CAL, therefore, once the vote on bill 40 is closed, there will now only be the ten technical days for the minority report ».
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Piero Comandini confirmed: the bill will be in the Chamber by the end of the month, probably on February 25 or 26 .
"It will be up to the chamber - says the leader of the Progressisti Francesco Agus - to implement the necessary changes to make the bill consistent with the regulatory system and the needs of Sardinia. A good part of the emergencies, especially those that require immediate intervention, will find an outlet in the Budget that will go to the chamber immediately afterwards".
The measure of the Council, in fact, was approved purged of the financial commitment rules, pending the approval of the Budget . Which will not happen before March, the third month of provisional exercise.
