Sardinia remains in the top ten of the national rankings of increases for the summer of 2023. And, in particular, the northern area.

Olbia-Tempio ranks fourth together with Siena with +8.6 percent compared to 2022 in the category of restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pastry shops, ice cream parlors, gastronomy products and rotisserie. But even hotels, motels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, farmhouses, holiday villages, campsites and youth hostels are no joke: Gallura is in seventh place with a plus of 20.8 (the national average is plus 12.8).

The data is provided by the National Consumer Union which in its report elaborated the Istat inflation data for June.

For hotels and accommodation services, Sassari is also above the national average : 17th with 15.2 percent increases.

But prices are increasing in the south: Cagliari registers a limited increase of 8.2 . And in the ranking of growing prices it is 49th together with Turin.

Cagliari and Sassari, on the other hand, are below the national average as regards restaurant services . The capital is 47th with a plus 5.6 percent compared to 2022. Prices also rise moderately in the Sassari area with an increase of 4.6 percent: thirteenth position in Italy among the most virtuous cities in terms of price increases.
