«Yesterday the Todde council met to nominate Nudda as extraordinary commissioner of the Forestas agency and apparently it was making a mistake again, so much so that the budget councillor and vice-president of the Region, Giuseppe Meloni, decided not to participate in the deliberation» explains Fausto Piga , deputy group leader of FdI, on the troubled case of the nomination of the general director of Forestas.

"In fact, it happened again: Democratic Party councilors skipped agenda items to distance themselves from President Todde's political and administrative conduct, which they clearly didn't agree with."

"This is yet another episode of short circuit in the broad-field relations between the Five Star Movement, Todde, and the Democratic Party ," the Melonian attacker said, "first they make stupid mistakes, argue, and then they even want applause when they patch up the problems they themselves created, as happened in the Cala Finanza case, keeping in mind that often the patches are worse than the hole."

"If Giuseppe Meloni is fed up with Todde's political line, he should leave the council. It's too easy to not vote for inconvenient measures and then pretend everything is fine, perhaps on Facebook to fool followers," Piga concludes. "Councilor Meloni should have the courage to act politically, not on social media."
