"It's much harder than I could have imagined. It's a pain that doesn't go away, even physically."
In an interview with the TV show “Verissimo” Dodi Battaglia talks about his life after the death of his wife Paola Toeschi , the actress and writer who died at the age of 51 last September.
"The last few months have been devastating. I lived hugging her. I talked to her all day," explained the Pooh guitarist, speaking of the terminal stage of Paola's illness, suffering from a brain tumor.
"I met her with a smile and she left with a smile. She never changed her attitude towards life, she never got angry or lost faith," he added.
Now, the artist is experiencing her pain with her daughter Sofia, now fifteen: "We are slowly reorganizing our lives. I canceled all commitments until the end of the year to be close to her. I will only do seminars, but the next year I want to play with my band again ".
