After his goal in the Puskás Award four days ago , Alessandro Deiola's stunning goal in Cagliari-Venezia on May 18th has been nominated for another award. It's the "Vote the Goal" competition at the Gran Galà del calcio, the event organized by the AIC (Italian Footballers' Association) to be held next Monday, December 1st in Milan. The stars of the 2024-2025 season will be honored at the event.
The award is decided by online voting, with voting on the website grangala.assocalciatori.it valid until 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 23. For the Puskás Award, the deadline is the same time on Wednesday, December 3 on the FIFA website, with the option to choose three of the eleven goals as first, second, and third.
Along with Deiola, also candidates for the Gran Gala del calcio are Cagliari's Nicolò Barella (Inter-Atalanta) , Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna-Genoa), Matías Soulé (Parma-Roma), Gustav Isaksen (Napoli-Lazio), Ché Adams (Empoli-Torino), Ylber Ramadani (Lecce-Torino), Moise Kean (Fiorentina-Genoa) and Charles De Ketelaere (Atalanta-Verona).
