Cagliari welcomed back three of the five international players who left to play during the international break this morning. Adam Obert, fresh from a goal for Slovakia against Luxembourg on Monday, and the Italy Under-21 duo, Riyad Idrissi and Marco Palestra, are recovering. Zito Luvumbo, arriving from Angola, is expected back tomorrow, while Semih Kılıçsoy ( after his bicycle kick feat in yesterday's Hungary-Turkey Under-21 match ) will be back at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini on Friday.
Three of the injured players, Yerry Mina, Boris Radunović, and Marko Rog, have undergone personalized treatment. The Colombian defender has completed treatment and will be evaluated in the coming days to determine whether he will be available again for Sunday's Cagliari-Bologna match. He is recovering from a low-grade strain to the soleus muscle of his right calf, sustained ten days ago in Udine. Alessandro Di Pardo, however, is still undergoing treatment and will certainly not be available for the next match.
Cagliari's session today began in the gym, with the Rossoblù engaged in strength-building exercises. The group then moved onto the pitch: a series of positional plays and high-intensity practice matches. A morning workout is scheduled for tomorrow .
