For Cagliari, the break for the national teams means trying to recover the injured players. Florinel Coman, Zito Luvumbo and Gabriele Zappa were absent yesterday against Roma , where despite the emergency and the change of formation, Davide Nicola's team still put in a good performance, which however did not see the favors of the result with the 1-0 defeat against the former Claudio Ranieri. The rossoblù will meet again on Wednesday afternoon at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini, to resume training.

Cagliari's next match is a direct clash against Monza, last in the standings and almost done for (but who on Saturday almost beat Parma , who avoided defeat with a 1-1 draw almost at the end). The match will be played on Sunday 30th at 12:30 at Unipol Domus, for the thirtieth day of Serie A. Nicola's goal is to possibly recover all three injured players, in order to have a full team.

Six of Cagliari's players left with their national teams : goalkeepers Velizar-Ilia Iliev (Bulgaria Under-21) and Alen Sherri (Albania), defenders Yerry Mina (Colombia) and Adam Obert (Slovakia), midfielders Răzvan Marin (Romania) and Matteo Prati (Italy Under-21). They are expected to return next week.
