Cagliari's training session resumed a day late at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini.

The Rossoblù were supposed to return to Sardinia during the night between Friday and Saturday, but a plane malfunction forced the team to remain in Lecce until yesterday afternoon . For this reason, Fabio Pisacane was forced to postpone their return to the field until this morning: just two training sessions ahead of the Coppa Italia, Tuesday at 5 pm in the one-off match against Frosinone in the round of 32. Meanwhile, Cagliari is enjoying its best start in Serie A in the three-point era .

Boris Radunović (the goalkeeper's recovery is not yet complete) and Zito Luvumbo (who will try to return against Inter on Saturday) continue their individual training . Cagliari's lineup is expected to change for Tuesday: Giuseppe Ciocci in goal is likely to start, with Zé Pedro in defense, Luca Mazzitelli in midfield, and Gennaro Borrelli in attack. Mattia Felici, who was very effective in his substitutions against Parma and Lecce, is also likely to start from the start.

This morning's training session featured two groups: the players who were most heavily involved in Friday's Lecce-Cagliari match did a cool-down session. The others initially focused on a technical structure, followed by possession drills and a match played on a reduced-size pitch. Tomorrow morning training will be followed by finishing sessions .
