Boris Radunović is leaving the training camp in Austria and returning early to Sardinia, missing Saturday's friendly (2:00 PM) against Hannover. The goalkeeper, returning to the Rossoblu after his loan spell at Bari, was injured yesterday just two and a half minutes into the match against Galatasaray in Linz . The initial diagnosis is a muscle strain in his left calf, which will be assessed with further tests in Cagliari.
Without Radunović, Cagliari trained today at the Voestalpine Stadion in Pasching, a few kilometers from Linz . In today's session, there were two working groups: aerobic work for the players who were most involved last night against Galatasaray, while for the others, the coaching staff developed activation exercises, technical structure, and positional play. Finally, the Rossoblù completed athletic work. Michael Folorunsho, who was made official today, is not in the group and will be waiting for the team directly in Sardinia .
Cagliari will train again tomorrow morning in Austria, then depart for Germany in the afternoon and play a friendly against Hannover on Saturday . From there, they return to Sardinia, with their next match on Saturday, August 2nd at 8:30 pm in the eagerly awaited inaugural Gigi Riva Trophy at the Unipol Domus against Saint-Étienne.
