Following Gallea's signing from Lumezzane, Cagliari Calcio has announced the permanent acquisition of left-back Sebastiano Di Paolo from Siracusa. Di Paolo has signed a contract until June 30, 2029, with an option to extend the contract for a further two seasons. Before arriving in Sardinia, the 2006-born Pescara native will remain on loan at Siracusa until June 30, 2026.

The deal to bring Dutchman Raterink to the rossoblù is also close to being concluded: born in 2006, a right-back, he plays for De Graafschap, second division.

On the transfer front, they said goodbye to Cavuoti – on loan to Bari – and Di Pardo (permanent, to Sampdoria).

A few other potential surprises are also on the way out: Bologna are interested in Zappa , Verona is interested in Luvumbo . And Torino are pushing for Prati . The Rossoblu are also interested in Bologna's Dominguez and Inter midfielder Berenbruch .

Meanwhile, Mister Pisacane is preparing for the match against Hellas, scheduled for Saturday evening at the Domus.

The temptation is to stick with the starting eleven from the victories against Juventus and Fiorentina. But there's also the awareness that the match against Verona will be different from the last two: this time, Cagliari will have to take control of the game and attack. At stake is the chance to win their third straight game and move within touching distance of safety. Borrelli has a chance alongside Kilicsoy , although Pisacane could decide not to change anything, perhaps asking Esposito to play a few meters further forward to support the young Turkish striker.
