The Cagliari Beach Soccer women's team finished sixth in the Women's Euro Winners Cup, an event held all week in Nazaré, Portugal. In the final to decide their position in the standings, for which they had qualified by beating Cadizfornia yesterday , the rossoblù lost 1-3 to Pastéis.

A Joana Flores goal with 3:43 left in the first half broke the deadlock in favor of the home side. There were no further goals in the second of three 12-minute periods, with Cagliari equalizing in the fifth minute of the third period through Varvara . However, Mayara and Ferreira then restored the scoreline in Pastéis' favor.

For Cagliari Beach Soccer, the international experience in Nazaré ends here, now the rossoblù will return to Italy in view of the start of the national women's championship .
